gomezDr. Gomez is currently President and CEO of Halcyon Investment Corp., a private Hard-Equity Lending Company. His entrepreneurial interests have resulted in the creation of numerous successful business ventures that includes the following businesses:

  • Courtyard Manor, an 86 bed adult living facility (ALF) that subsequently was sold to a Miami, Florida area hospital.
  • Gobla Enterprises, Inc., a management company of durable medical equipment, supplies and healthcare services.
  • Medical Service Providers, Inc., a respiratory therapy specialty service provider that was subsequently sold to a national publicly traded corporation.
  • Allied Health Career Institute, Inc., a continuous medical education provider and respiratory therapy school.

Dr.  Gomez’s management experience has included the positions of CEO, Assistant Hospital Administrator, Director of a Pulmonary Medicine Department, and Program Director for a Respiratory Therapy and a continuous medical education school.  Furthermore, he is the author of four published books of which his most recent is a book that addresses the Private Money Lending industry. His latest book resulted from a qualitative research study undertaken at Florida Christian University (FCU) as partial fulfillment for a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Business Administration. This book has since gone on to win the prestigious Axiom Business Book Awards for 2016 in Personal Finance, Retirement Planning and Investing. Moreover, he is the recipient of patent no. 4867148, a facial separation barrier that is used to prevent infections and allergic reactions during the training of Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Dr. Gomez has also been the recipient of the Presidential Physical Fitness Award, and has been included in the biographic database of Marquis, Who’s Who directories, which is the standard for reliable and comprehensive biographical data, since 1899. Additionally, Gomez is a martial arts practitioner, holding the classification of San Dan Sensei (first degree black belt) in American Kempo karate, conferred by the AKKA. Always an avid learner, he holds degrees from Miami Dade College (MDC), Florida International University (FIU), Carlos Albizu University (CAU), European-American University (EAU) and Florida Christian University (FCU).
